Creamy shrimp sauce

It’s the weekend baby! Whoo hoo! And not a moment too soon. This calls for celebration in the form of stuff-your-face surf and turf! While hubby gets the fire started for the steak, you can boil some baby potatoes, throw together a toss salad and make this deliciously creamy shrimp sauce. Best served with an ice cold beer.

500 g shrimp

250 ml cream

2 teaspoons thyme

1 teaspoon garlic

lots of black pepper

1. Fry the shrimp sauce in a saucepan for about 5 minutes. Drain the excess water.

2. Add the thyme and garlic and fry for another 2 minutes or so.

3. Mix in the cream and lots of black pepper. Bring the sauce to a boil and set aside for it to thicken a bit.

4. Reheat the sauce and serve over a steak and potatoes.
