Pork chops with fruit chutney and apricot jam to the rescue! Since you probably have a few last minute Christmas chores to perform, or if you prefer baking cookies rather than preparing dinner, a no mess no fuss meal is the answer. You just pop these chops in the oven and serve it with a green salad, and then you ponder why in the world something this easy can be so delicious. Hurray!
4 pork chops
4 tablespoons fruit chutney
4 tablespoons apricot jam
- Place your pork chops on an ovenproof tray and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix the chutney and jam in a small bowl and brush the chops on both sides with the mixture.
- Bake in a 180 degree oven for 15 minutes or until the meat has turned whitish. Put the oven on the grill function, and grill the chops for 3 minutes on each side.
- Serve with a green salad and mashed potatoes.
