It’s been a week of milk chocolate treats, ice cream, waffles and more ice cream. Green smoothies with peaches to the rescue! It’s my version of a detox smoothie but with none of the creepy detoxy tastes – this one is packed with sweet apple and peachy flavours and it’s oh so good for you. Keep the recipe for when you’re having one of those weeks.
100 ml tropical fruit juice
Handful of baby spinach, frozen
1 apple, cubed and frozen (I used Golden Delicious)
2 peaches, cubed
250 ml plain yogurt
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and whiz it up for a few minutes – until the consistency is smooth.
- Serve ice cold.
