Is it weird that I really love pears? It has to be in my top three favourite fruit along with prickly pears and melons. I love ’em. And I love ’em in baking … as in pear and caramel muffins. And I love ’em in smoothies … as in pear and honey smoothies with some cinnamon. Try ’em. You’ll love ’em too. Also, I won’t be using ’em again. Bit too much?
Ingredients:
2 pears, cubed and frozen
100 ml milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
100 ml Greek yogurt
Method
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and whiz it up for a few minutes – until the consistency is smooth.
- Serve ice cold.
