What’s your favourite savoury ingredient to cook with? Parmesan seems to win, but then there’s chipotle and chorizo?
What’s your favourite sweet ingredient to cook with? No surprise here and it’s actually going to be one – CHOCOLATE!
What’s your favourite kitchen tool? Blender and zester. Yes I know that’s two but they’re like kitchen twins and inseparable in my kitchen.
Who is your culinary icon? Yottam Ottolenghi
What is your favourite recipe book? All his books from Jerusalem to Nopi.
What meal or snack is your guilty pleasure? Daily snack – Medjool dates, but there’s no guilt there so I’d have to say a chilli tomato based pasta, loads of parmesan and basil.
What dish do you want to master but can’t seem to get right? Macaroons. Sometimes we’re friends and other days the relationship is like a sinking ship!!
What was last night’s dinner? Three grain freekeh jewel salad with Moroccan chicken and tahini yoghurt.
What’s your secret talent? If I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret?
